Yackandandah Food Share

Available to all that need it. Take what you need and give what you can.

Here is how we can help

FOOD SHARE STAND

Accessible 24 hours a day, from the Yack Community Garden Located on William street. Take what you need, pick what ever produce is ready to harvest.

FOOD SHARE PANTRY

Accessible Tue, Wed & Thur from 9am to 4pm, from the Yackandandah Community Centre. Pantry stables, ready meals, toiletries and frozen products.

FOOD SHARE VOUCHERS

YCC is an outlet where you can purchase food pantry vouchers for the Albury Wodonga Food Share Shop. Purchase a voucher for $25 and receive $150 worth of food (of your choice) from the Albury Wodonga Food Share Shop, located at 81 Wigg Street, Wodonga.

ADDITIONAL LOCAL SUPPORT

Emergency Relief; support for financial, emotional and physical hardship. Assistance with utilities, grocery bills and medications.

Auspicing Opportunities

To 'auspice' means to provide support, sponsorship or guidance. The group or person requiring support is known as the 'auspicee' and the entity (usually an incorporated organisation) that auspices the group or person is known as the 'auspicor.

YCC has had the opportunity to Auspice a few wonderful local community groups. Some of these groups are still under the sponsorship or auspice of YCC and other groups have built up to becoming an independent organisation.

Here are some of the organisations that YCC have auspiced or supported over the years;

Printing, Photocopying & Scanning

YCC has a commercial photocopier that is capable of small to medium sized jobs. Avaliable during office hours

Costs is per side:

  • A4 black & white $0.20

  • A4 colour $0.60

  • A3 black & white $0.40

  • A3 colour $1.00

  • Laminating: A4 - $1.50 A3 - $2.50

Room for Hire

YCC has a wonderful meeting room available for use by the Yackandandah Community, it is easy to access and bookings are self managed through our website, here.

  • Access avaliable 8am-8pm

  • 30 seats theater style and 20 meeting style

  • NBN Wifi and online meeting capabilities

  • Use of large-screen Smart TV

  • Kitchen facilities, including a full size fridge and toilet

  • Welcome to inspect to ensure the space is fit for purpose

    Fees:

    • Casual users: $20.00 (inc. gst) per hour.

    • Regular users: $120-$360 per year, depending on use
