YCC Community Op Shop

We are Yackandandah’s community Op Shop.

The op shop is our community social enterprise, its is a great place to find a bargain and is run by our friendly volunteers who are always happy to help.

Funds raised through the Op Shop are put back into the community through the Yackandandah Community Centre grants program.

To date we have distrubted over $106,000 to many local volunteer organisations in and around Yackandandah.

To help charity shops keep their costs down, follow the golden rule for donations …

if you would gift it to a friend or family member, then it’s in good enough condition to donate.

Donations we DO NOT accept:

  • Dirty, stained, smelly or damaged clothes or items

  • Bulky items like, furniture and white goods (clothes washer etc)

  • Electrical items

  • Baby items; portable cots & high chairs

  • Dangerous and chemical goods i.e.knives, swords, sharp utensils or gas bottles

  • Large quantities of any one type of item

    Please call us on 02 6027 1743 if you are unsure if you can donate (before you deliver).

Donations we DO accept:

  • Clean clothes with; no stains, working zips and hole free

  • Toys

  • Books (limited)

  • Kitchen wear and knick-knacks

  • Clean linen & manchester

  • Instruments




Volunteer with us!

We are always looking for volunteers to fill a shift.

Our op shop retail assistant shifts are 10am-1pm and 1pm-3pm.

Gain experience in the retail, community and the social enterprise sector.

Socialise with your friends, our community and our visitors.

Sat - 2nd sat of each month - 10am - 1pm

Sun - 3rd Sunday of each month (Open on Lions Club Market Days) - 10am - 1pm
